The method used is the ABCC/BCF Zones based on the gap between Maximal HR and Resting HR Rest Heart Rate calculation. After many years of use; this calculation method seems to the most efficient according to Lionel Reynaud.
The 2 Input datas you need to know are your resting Heart Rate and your max heart rate.
To know your resting heart rate, please take it early in the morning when you awake. For your max heart rate, you can determine it through fitness test but we recommend first to have a medical test in a special center which will determine your max heart rate and could prevent counter indication for intensive Training.
